KARACHI – Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rise in Karachi’s temperature up to 37 degrees, here on Thursday.
The Karachi is witnessing an increase in temperature in the month of April as mercury shot up to observe level. 30 degrees has been recorded in the city which may extend to 37 degrees. The maximum humidity level was 58 per cent in the air whereas the weather would be dry and hot in the next 24 hours.
Earlier, Director Meteorological Department Abdul Rashid had predicted that the year 2016 will be hotter and people will face warm and dry weather in the month of Ramazan. Nearly 1200 people had died due to severe heatstrokes in the month of June last year.
