JHANG: Five persons were killed and ten others sustained injuries in a collision between two vehicles at Jhang-Khushab Road on Tuesday. According to Rescue 1122, 15 persons of Wan Bhichran, Joharabad were coming from Darbar Hazrat Sultan Bahu in a mini truck when it collided with a truck coming from opposite direction near Mari Shah Sakhira. As a result, five persons including Khurram Shahzad and his mother Nasrin Bibi, Saadia, Maryam Bibi and Hayat Bibi died on the spot while ten others received injuries. The Rescue 1122 shifted the injured Fatima, Shakila, Dua Fatima, Asim Waqas, Muhammad Shoaib, Nasim Bibi, Shamim Bibi, Nasrin Akhtar and two others to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital and other nearby hospitals.
